Sleet and rain,
On the windowpane,
Windy, cold and slippy,
On nights like this,
I bet you wished,
You lived in Mississippi!

But I’ll admit,
Just a tiny bit,
It sparks my inner heartstrings,
To see the ground,
With shining crown,
That sparkles as the day springs.
